Supremacy of the Constitution
This Constitution stands as the supreme governing document of the Society and shall override all subsidiary instruments—including bye-laws, rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, directives, and resolutions—whether issued by the Executive Council, State Branches, Technical or Interest Groups, or any other organ within the Society.
In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between this Constitution and any such instrument, the Constitution shall prevail. Any provision found to be inconsistent shall, to the extent of its inconsistency, be deemed invalid and of no effect.

Pharmacy Council of Nigeria Law
The Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (Establishment) Act, 2022—commonly referred to as the PCN Law—serves as the cornerstone for regulating pharmacy practice in Nigeria. This legislation formally establishes the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) and grants it the authority to oversee all facets of the profession. Its scope encompasses the education and training of pharmacists, the regulation of their professional practice, and the supervision of Pharmacy Technicians and Patent and Proprietary Medicine Vendors (PPMVs). The Act is designed to enforce adherence to legal standards while promoting excellence, ethical conduct, and professionalism within the pharmaceutical sector.
