On behalf of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Ondo State, we extend our heartfelt congratulations on the commissioning of the PHARMA-GRADE warehouse.Let me also congratulate Your Excellency on your 100days in office The commissioning of this edifice is a significant milestone which reflects your unwavering commitment to enhancing the healthcare infrastructure in our dear state.

We acknowledge the remarkable contributions you have made since your assumption of office, particularly in the health sector. It is with keen interest that we follow your achievements, which continue to have a positive impact on the lives of our people.

The new warehouse will play a vital role in accommodating and ensuring the safe-keeping of affordable, quality drugs, essential medicines, and health commodities for the use of the citizens of Ondo State. We appreciate your leadership in making this initiative a reality.

The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria stands ready to support all health initiatives that are in the best interest of our people. Together, we can continue to make strides towards a healthier future for our state.

The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Ondo State, extends its heartfelt congratulations on the auspicious occasion of the commissioning of the PHARMA-GRADE WAREHOUSE Akure, on the 3rd of June, 2025,by His Excellency, the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa. In the same vein, we felicitate with Your Excellency on your 100days in office.

This landmark achievement is a significant stride forward to deliver services in the health sector of Ondo State which is to be of global standard. The establishment of this state-of-the-art facility is another proof of the commitment of your administration to the welfare of the citizens.

We are particularly thrilled by the primary objective of this warehouse which will be a deport of high standard for essential medicines and other health commodities, which will service our health facilities from the primary to the tertiary level. This will be the major source of quality and affordable health commodities for the people of Ondo State. This initiative directly aligns with the PSN’s mission to ensure the availability of safe, effective, and affordable pharmaceutical products and all other medical materials in use in our health institutions.

The PHARMA-GRADE WAREHOUSE will undoubtedly play a crucial role in streamlining the supply chain of our health commodities. This will translate into better health outcomes , a healthier and more productive society.

The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Ondo State Chapter, celebrates Pa Reuben Fasoranti, our revered living ancestor and leader of Afenifere, on his 99th birthday!

A founding father of the old Ondo State (comprising present-day Ondo and Ekiti), and former Commissioner for Finance, Pa Fasoranti’s legacy of service, leadership, and integrity continues to inspire us all.

We are proud of his deep ties to our profession through his children, Pharm. Kehinde Fasoranti (MD, Fazcare Pharmacy) and his twin brother Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, Secretary to the Ondo State Government,a very good friend of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria,OndoState.

We pray for Baba’s continued health, peace, and many more fulfilling years.

The Pharmaceutical Soceity of Nigeria, (PSN) Ondo State has extended hearty congratulations to Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, the newly inaugurated Secretary to the State Government and Prof. Simidele Odinmayo, Special Adviser on Health to Mr. Governor.

In a special congratulatory message signed by the State Chairman, PSN, Pharm. Babalola Osabiya Taiwo, he described the appointment as well deserved.

PSN Ondo further expressed appreciation to Mr. Govenor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for choosing these individuals who remain invaluable assets to his administration.

The statement further reads: “Your appointment truly reflects that the present administration is committed to work with individuals who have deep understanding of the assignment and are able to translate government policies through effective service delivery.

To our amiable SSG, we believe in your capacity to deliver on set goals and we pray for wisdom and knowledge to excel in service. We are also confident that with your leadership and wealth of experience, Ondo State stands a better chance under this administration to take decisive steps and actions that will better impact the lives of our people.

PSN ONDO STANDS WITH NAFDAC

The Pharmaceutical society of Nigeria,Ondo State reiterates her pleasure and unwavering support to the recent giant strides made by the National Agency for food and Drugs administration and Control(NAFDAC) led by her courageous DG,Professor Christianah Mojisola Adeyeye.

The agency’s bold step in taking the war against fake and illegal drugs right to the doorsteps of those involved in this act is not only commendable but laudable.

The closure of the main open drug markets in Idumota and Onitsha despite high level political interference is a testament to the doggedness of NAFDAC in keeping up with her mandate and keeping our people who bear the brunt of this ignoble,horrendous acts safe.

We know that those involved in this gruesome practice do not value the health or lives of our citizens.

We are using this medium to encourage NAFDAC to keep up this good work to totally ensure that fake and counterfeit drugs,their producers and their entire supply chain network becomes a thing of the past in Nigeria.

Rest assured we are with you ,promising to do all in our power to help advance this cause to fruition
