PSN ONDO STANDS WITH NAFDAC

The Pharmaceutical society of Nigeria,Ondo State reiterates her pleasure and unwavering support to the recent giant strides made by the National Agency for food and Drugs administration and Control(NAFDAC) led by her courageous DG,Professor Christianah Mojisola Adeyeye.

The agency’s bold step in taking the war against fake and illegal drugs right to the doorsteps of those involved in this act is not only commendable but laudable.

The closure of the main open drug markets in Idumota and Onitsha despite high level political interference is a testament to the doggedness of NAFDAC in keeping up with her mandate and keeping our people who bear the brunt of this ignoble,horrendous acts safe.

We know that those involved in this gruesome practice do not value the health or lives of our citizens.

We are using this medium to encourage NAFDAC to keep up this good work to totally ensure that fake and counterfeit drugs,their producers and their entire supply chain network becomes a thing of the past in Nigeria.
