The pharmacy anthem was jointly led by Pharm. Akerejola and Pharm. Yemisi Bodede along with ALPS members present.

6.0 READING / ADOPTION OF MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
The minutes of the last meeting was read by the Secretary.
The motion for adoption was moved by Professor (Mrs) Owolabi and seconded by Pharm. Olukoju A.
7.0 MATTERS ARISING
7.1. BUS PROJECT
Pharm. Olori Akande FPSN encouraged members to take the project to heart. She passionately appealed that the project is achievable if members can contribute a minimum of #50,000 naira only.
it would be easier to persuade outside donors once we have something substantial in our kitty she concluded. She further admonished all,including executive members of PSN and Technical groups to pay up as soon as possible.
Fidson has donated the sum of 1 million naira to the project and letters to pharmacy premise owners for support were ready for dispatch according to the PSN chairman.
7.2 ESTATE COMMITTEE REPORT
The PSN estate committee report was read by the secretary Pharm. Seun Orimoloye.
After several deliberations on the report,
The following resolutions were made:
1. There is a need to merge the two cooperatives of the society into one
2. The current PSN estate committee should be expanded to accommodate more members and they should also be saddled with administration/ oversight of the cooperative society.
3. A plot of land was donated to the PSN by Pharm. S.O Adekola on the property.
4. PSN interest must be protected in the two sub entities i.e The Estate and the cooperative.
8.0 AOB
8.1 ADVERTISEDCOURSES ON HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT BY UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, ONDO
The chairman informed the house that UNIMED Ondo advertised some courses on hospitals management which he believed will be necessary for pharmacists to have an edge in the future. The PSN is ready to fund the participation of interested pharmacists.
However, No hospital pharmacist registered their interest in the programme.
Pharm. Fagbemi Emmanuel Informed the house that he inquired about the programme and most of the courses were diploma level courses not intended for core health professionals
Pharm. Famakinde FPSN advised members to either get a master’s in business administration MBA or put in for their West Africa postgraduate college of pharmacy programme.
8.2 INAUGURATION OF COMMITTTEE ON GOOD PHARMACY PRACTICE AND SUSTAINABILITY
The committee was inaugurated by the chairman in a brief ceremony. The chairman of the committee is Pharm. Akindeko Robinson.
9.0 MOTION FOR ADJOURNMENT
The motion for Adjournment was moved by Pharm Samuel Adekola and seconded by Prof (Mrs) Owolabi
