2.0: OPENING PAYER
The meeting started with an opening prayer by Pharm. (Mrs) Sajo Grace at 1:20 pm

The pharmacy anthem was led by Pharm. (Mrs) Yemisi Akerejola
4.0: WELCOME REMARKS
The chairman welcomed all the leaders and thanked the fellows of our society.He congratulated all and wished us a , happy new year.

6.0: READING/ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA/ MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
The agenda for the meeting and the minutes of last meeting was read by the secretary Pharm. Orimoloye Oluwaseun.
The motion for adoption of the agenda was moved by Pharm. Olabode Ogunjemiyo FPSN and it was seconded by Pharm. Martha Ajayi.
The motion for the adoption of the minutes of the last meeting was moved by Pharm. Adekola Samuel FPSN and was seconded by Pharm. F. O Oluwatimilehin FPSN.it was underscored that the names of the chairman and the secretary should be included in the final version.
7.0 DISCUSSION FOR THE DAY
7.1 PSN ESTATE BOARD – The members were announced to the house ably led by Pharm Samuel Ademola FPSN,the estate board was tasked with overseeing estate matters on behalf of the Society in Ondo State.
7.2 PSN COOPERATIVE SOCIETY – Pharm, Adetunji Solomon, the secretary of the cooperative society, enlightened the house on the cooperative.Pharm Ashaolu Kunle FPSN also shed more light and encouraged members to make good use of this opportunity.
7.3 PHARMAGROWTH SOLUTION LIMITED
The Chairman explained the idea of the company to the gathering, key notions include;
– it’s the property of the PSN In Ondo State established to serve the purposes of the society.
– Everybody can use it for their business purposes as it helps to advance members business goals in synergy with the association.
-It creates opportunity for all and can serve as a revenue earner for the association.
-Pharm. Akinyemi Adedayo sought clarification on the kind of business that the company will be engaged in and the gains for members.
The proposed Directorate include
– Pharm. (Mrs) Osundolire Funmilayo FPSN
– Pharm. (Mrs) F.C Oluwatimilehin FPSN
– Pharm. Olabode Ogunjemiyo FPSN
– Pharm. B.O Taiwo FPSN
– Pharm. Dr. Fagbemi Emmanuel
– Pharm. Adetunji Solomon
Pharm. Ashaolu suggested that the PSN chairman should be included on the directorship (silent contribution ) as the visionary leader that championed the existence of the company with a role to give guidance to the company leadership.
The Chairman replied that the company would last beyond his administration with emphasis that all decision depends on the conclave of the Annual general meeting. He suggested that the upcoming young pharmacists can competently drive the vision of the company.
The motion for adoption for the establishment of the company was moved by Dr. Samuel Adekola FPSN and seconded by Pharm. (Mrs) Adebisi Adeyewa.
7.4 GOOD PHARMACY PRACTICE COMMITEE
– The report on the meeting with the Director of Pharmaceutical services and The State officer was given by Dr. Samuel Adekola.
He expounded on the genesis of the committee and the gaps the committee is expected to fill.
He noted that guidelines will be penned down and the committee will help the profession to move forward.
7.5 THE APPOINTMENT OF DR SAMUEL ADEKOLA AS A CONSULTANT BY THE GOVERNOR OF ONDO STATE
Dr Samuel Ademola FPSN was recently appointed by The Executive Governor of Ondo State as the consultant on Drugs, medical Consumables, and Pharmaceuticals/Health investments.
The house congratulated him on his appointment.
7.6 ICONS OF PHARMACY INITIATIVE
The initiative to honour and celebrate Elderly Pharmacists(Above 70)who have contributed to the upliftment of the profession in Ondo State was presented by the chairman.
The programme is expected to hold as a major celebration in the month of April,every year.
The programme was approved by the entire house
7.7 UNION MATTERS
-The need to have a separate union to solely dedicated to the needs of Pharmacists was discussed extensively.Members noted it was high time we pursued a union populated solely by colleagues and acts in the best interests of our profession.
-The Chairman informed the house that a letter will be sent to council advocating our position and urging the council to pursue this fervently.
7.8 ANNUAL DUES
– The Chairman briefed the house on the challenges we had with pharmagateway on dues remittance and reconciliation which informed the decision to have members pay directly to state accounts, instead of going through the app.,
Pharm. Ogunjemiyo Olabode,said we should request to be admin on the app in order to have access to our accounts directly and we should continue on pharmagateway as it helps to simplify payments and also curb the evasion of payment of dues.
7.9 LETTER TO THE REGISTRAR
A letter was written to the registrar to reinforce the need for private hospitals and healthcare facilities to undergo proper registration with PCN in compliance with the Pharmacy act 2022, before being allowed to dispense medicines.
Premise registration and supervision of all aspects of drug management by a Currently licensed pharmacist and the dangers of unregulated administration and dispensing of medicines were highlighted.
Private health facilities must comply with stated laws before accreditation by ODCHC in Ondo State.
8.0 REMEMBRANCE OF RECENTLY DECEASED PHARMACISTS
A minute silence was observed for Pharm Olu Olonite, Pharm Wole Ojo and Pharm Bambe Kehinde who recently passed into Glory.
All members were enjoined to attend Pharm. Olonite’s burial on the 5th and 6th February, 2026
9.0 LECTURE ON SECURITY BY PHARM. OLABODE OGUNJEMIYO FPSN.
Pharm Olabode Ogunjemiyo enlightened us on the need to be security conscious due to developments in the country.
KEY POINT OF THE LECTURE INCLUDE:
– Check all your windows and doors
– Switch on security light
– Fire extinguishers everywhere
– Don’t board a bus filled with just all members of same sex or opposite sex.
– Don’t carry or count money openly in the bus
– Don’t take any unnecessary risks by picking random passengers as a form of help
– Lie flat during exchange of gunfire
– Lock your car doors anytime you are in it.
– Don’t display valuables in your car openly e g phones,jewelry or bags or power banks.
– Install security demobilisers in your car
– Don’t buy phone from unknown source
– Only God has ability to secure without regret
10.0 AOB
10.1 Merging of Zones
Akoko zone was merged with owo zone
10.2 ENTERTAINMENT
The Zonal Coordinator for Akure Zone,Pharm Adeolu Titus Thanked members for their contributions.
He also spoke to those yet to contribute to do so towards the march meeting.
The details of expenses were stated vis
Total amount realized was – #315,000.00
Total Amount spent – #295,000.00
leaving a balance of 20,000naira.

11.1 MOTION FOR ADJOURNMENT
The motion for adjournment was moved by Pharm Kunle Ashaolu FPSN and seconded by Pharm (Mrs) Adebisi Adeyewa
